Alameda 50/70 D4 TOC Champions
The Alameda Little League 50/70 Division Champions became the District 4 Tournament of Champions winners for that division with a convincing victory of 22-1 over Clayton Valley. The game was played today at the Continental American Little League fields. Congratulations to the players and coaches for this achievement!
The 50/70 Intermediate division is the next step for graduating 12 year olds who want to continue playing in Alameda Little League. The differences between Intermediate and Majors/Minor Little League divisions are that the Intermediate diamond has dimensions of 50 feet from mound to plate and 70 feet between bases. Majors and all other Little League divisions play on a diamond that is 40 feet from mound to plate and 60 feet between bases. Also, Intermediate players are allowed to lead off and wear metal cleats. Registration for Spring 2023 will open in September.
